CPGNCGA (Possible Future Applicants)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
for other possible participants/future TEFL programme applicants,
This coordination is glad to remind all those colleagues who might be interested in taking any of our courses -only one per term- as an updating course or as advance courses [in case you plan to apply for a post as a new regular participant of the SubProgramme (next participant selection will be carried out April-July 2011)] that our classes begin next Wed. Feb. 3rd 2010, and that you can register officially within the next four weeks.
We must tell our participants that they can spread the message among other colleagues who might be interested in taking one specific course without necessarily becoming engaged in the whole programme.
In any such cases mentioned above, participants will receive an achievement certificate (in case you pass) or attendance certificate (in case you do not achieve the minimum passing grade).
As we said in a previous post, a few days ago:

Definite Courses for 2010-I
Dear students,
After a long search we have finally come to offer two compulsory courses of your formation programme for 2010-I:
"Desarrollo de destrezas del lenguaje" (MELFO 2032, 2 UC) and
"Metodología de la investigación en educación" (MELIO 1013, 3 UC)
These courses will be taught 2-5 pm (Prof. Rosa Araujo) and 5-8 pm (Prof. María Eugenia Bautista) respectively. You must be informed that the course on Methodology will be taught in Spanish. Besides, you must remember that every course must involve an hour of virtual work weekly, so as to complete 48 hours per course per term.
Remember you have to deposit in the bank, exchange your voucher in Caja, go to Coordinación General de PostGrado for a final check, and go to Control de Estudios for the actual registration.

Registration for 2010-I
Dear students & participants,
Happy new year 2010! We hope you made the best possible use of time during the holiday season whatever your priorities were! Now... we are back to business! We had not posted any official information because changes were very likely to take place and... they did.
Registration has been postponed for a fortnight; therefore, regular students' registration is due on January 28th and 29th. As usual, non-regular students (i.e., as Curso de PostGrado No Conducente a Grado Académico) will have some four further weeks to register. 2010-I classes are expected to begin on Sat Jan. 30th 2010, which means OUR regular classes will start on Wed Feb. 3rd.
Now... read carefully the following notes dealing with more specific types of procedures depending on different stages of your postgraduate studies:
1.- 2009-III students: you should register "Metodología de la investigación en educación" (MELIO 1013, 3 UC) and "Aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera" (MELFO 1032, 2 UC). We are also planning to offer a further course on Academic Writing.
2.- 2008-I students who have not submitted their research projects:
In case you aim to submit your project this term, you must register 1 credit again (2 ut). Then, you must hand in your tutor's appointment ASAP and your project on week 6 (deadline: Tues, March 9th. 2010) for the Research Paper Comission (Comisión de Trabajo de Grado, CTG) to revise and evaluate before the 2010-II term begins.
3.- 2008-I students whose tutor has been appointed and who already submited their research projects:
You have to register "Seminario de investigación II" (MELIO 4013, 3 UC). You will receive the necessary certification and corrections on your project so that you will produce your finak draft and hand it in by Tues, March 9th. 2010 for the Research Paper Comission (Comisión de Trabajo de Grado, CTG) to re-check and evaluate and certify its approval before the 2010-II begins.
All bank deposits for regular students' registration will have to be made on:
Banco de Venezuela, cuenta corriente nro. 0102-0263-9700-00037455, a nombre de: IPC-PostGrado y Doctorado.
