2009-III Term Calendar

Dear Students & participants,
In this post you will find definite information regarding the 2009-III Calendar. Please, check, make sure it is all clear and in case you have any specific question you can always contact us via blog comment or email (maestria.ileipc@gmail.com). You must also know that prof. D Durán will be available to answer your questions in of. 639, on Wednesdays 2-5 pm.

Calendar
Thurs. Sept. 24th: Starting date.
Thurs. & Fri. Oct. 15th, 16th: Retiro de Asignaturas. Deadline for CPGNCGA registration, non-regular courses (Academic Writing, for instance) and late registration.
Fri. Dec. 11th: Xmas Holidays begin.
Mon. Jan. 4th: Xmas Holidays end.
Wed. Jan. 13th: End of term.
Wed. Jan. 14th: Handing in grades.
Wed. Jan. 15th: Grade revision.

Regular students will take 2 courses: 'Modelos Descriptivos del Lenguaje', and 'Problemática de la Enseñanza del Inglés Como Lengua Extranjera en Venezuela'.
Conditioned students will ALSO have to take Academic Writing in English, which they will have to register as Curso de PostGrado No Conducente a Grado Académico (CPGNCGA), so it will be registered between now and Oct. 16th. This course must be 2 credit units (4 U.T) and the bank deposit intended for this modality must be made in a different account in Banesco (Please, check in the General Coordination for definite information on this aspect).
All these courses are also available for possible participants with a degree in TEFL as updating courses.

Notice: The Academic Writing in English course will be taught on Fridays, 4-7 pm., on the 6th floor, room 602.
